Is Hobsons' Bay City Council seeking to 'endorse' the former local member Lynne Kosky, thereby giving its 'stamp of approval' to the Labour party in this by-election? According to the Deputy Mayor of Hobsons's Bay's website, a motion was raised at their 2nd Feb meeting to "thank Lynne Kosky for Outstanding Service". |

Don't trick yourselves into believing that your vote doesn't count. In the Altona by election every vote will count. I believe that the only way that we can get resources spent in this area to the degree that they are needed it to at least make this a marginal seat. The safer an electorate is, the less resources are allocated, the longer this goes on, the more settled the sitting party becomes. We need to keep our politicians on their toes. The saying goes 'the squeaky wheel gets the oil', in this case lets make the Altona Electorate the 'squeaky wheel' for the State Government. We need the'oil'. Let me know what you think.
