After discussion with many of the candidates for the Truganina Ward, I had to think long and hard about how I should suggest that you the voter fill in your Vote Card. Some of the candidates have been on council for a short time, and have done good works, whilst other candidates promise to bring new ideas and a new focus to the role of councillor. So in an effort to be fair, whilst I have laid out what I think might bring about the maximum amount of change needed to re-invigorate Wyndham council, I urge you to read each of their campaign literature, visit their websites (if they have one), look at what is being said in the local papers, and then make up your own mind. You certainly shouldn't be letting any political party alliances sway you - party politics should have no place in local government. If you believe that change is needed, and that council must once again become accountable to its ratepayers, you can choose to vote along the lines of my preferences: VOTE 1 : LIZ MUMBY.Your independent community Candidate
