"Vote Local, Vote Liz"

Newsflash

Is Hobson's Bay Council seeking to influence the result of the election?

Is Hobsons' Bay City Council seeking to 'endorse' the former local member Lynne Kosky, thereby giving its 'stamp of approval' to the Labour party in this by-election?

I ask you to think about what your local issues are.

  • Would you like the footpath in front of your house fixed this year instead of two years away?
  • Would you like to see more rubbish bins in our local parks?
  • Would you like to see more traffic management devices (such as speed humps) in your street?
  • Would you like to see your rates should cover your “green bin”?
  • Would you like to see more dog off leash areas in Point Cook?
  • Would you like your issues replied to and resolved in a timely manner instead of being passed around and often not really getting anywhere?

Or do the issues you have cover a broader spectrum?

  • Would you like more Sporting Facilities in Point Cook now, instead of just promises that it will happen 'sometime soon'?
  • Would you like access to Broadband in your street?
  • Would you like better public transport so that your commute times are less and you get to spend more quality time with your family?
  • Would you like to better understand where you rates are being spent so you can make an informed decision about how well Wyndham Council is looking after the needs of its' Ratepayers?
  • Would you like less 'Council Speak' and more “Community Speak', so you can understand how Council works?
  • Would you like to see regular meetings with our State and Federal MPS to ensure that Wyndham obtains the best possible outcomes on the issues that really matter to us as a Community? (After all what is the point of having the Deputy Prime Minister, the State Transport Minister and the State Minister for Roads and Infrastructure as you local MPs, if they are not accessible by the local people for the area that they serve?)
  • Would you like Council to meet more regularly with Ratepayers to discuss the issues that they have person to person?
I WILL WORK WITH YOU ON YOUR ISSUES TO GET ACTION, NOT JUST WORDS.

VOTE 1: LIZ MUMBY FOR TRUGANINA.
