Is Hobsons' Bay City Council seeking to 'endorse' the former local member Lynne Kosky, thereby giving its 'stamp of approval' to the Labour party in this by-election? According to the Deputy Mayor of Hobsons's Bay's website, a motion was raised at their 2nd Feb meeting to "thank Lynne Kosky for Outstanding Service". |

| Rates are really the main 'communication' point between Council and the Community. Wyndham needs to act to show the Community that it is using rate money wisely. Council needs to have a strong justification for increasing rates. Council should be capping rate rises once it has a surplus of dollars in the bank. |
